Ideally, upholstery should be vacuumed weekly and cushions turned monthly to maintain the visual appearance of the fabric. This philosophy, combined with the use of fabric protection and a spot cleaning service plan, is the safest way for owners to receive the greatest return on their furniture investment. However, it is not a perfect world and from time to time, overall cleaning is a needed and valuable service. We recommend cleaning annually under normal use.
Upholstery cleaning is a lot more technical and requires a much higher degree of knowledge and experience than carpet cleaning. Due to varied materials and methods used in the manufacture of upholstered furniture, a single cleaning process is not appropriate for all cleaning situations.
We've developed techniques to treat urine contamination, water stains, wine spills and have even re dyed fabric on two rare occasions. We specialize in white and off-white fabrics and have corrected many pieces which developed a problem after others have cleaned. We also can handle some minor repairs.
